John
played a major role in the development of Schwan Food Company’s
audit department. He was also instrumental in establishing
the company’s risk assessment process, and its Sarbanes-Oxley
compliance procedures. Previously, John was an internal auditor
in industry and an external auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers,
LLP.
John graduated from Robert Morris University with a bachelor’s
in business administration, and he earned an MBA at the University
of Pittsburgh. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

struggling with the need to have strong, active, and clearly
defined relationships among corporate governance, internal
control, and internal auditing. He will address the current
challenges and discuss how Schwan’s is working to
