Stan VanderToolen is a CPA with the Tax Group at the Salt Lake City office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He has over 13 years experience in public accounting where he has specialized in providing tax consulting and compliance services for a wide range of public and private entities. Mr. VanderToolen has concentrated his practice on commercial real estate and high technology. He has vast experience with creative tax planning for flow-through entities.

Mr. VanderToolen received a Bachelor’s degree Cum Laude in Accounting from the University of Utah in 1989. He subsequently received a Master’s of Accountancy with an emphasis in taxation, from Brigham Young University in 1990.

Mr. VanderToolen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on many non-profit boards and committees including Ballet West, Primary Children’s Hospital – Planned Giving, University of Utah, University of Utah Young Alumni, and Utah Arts Festival.
Mr. VanderToolen and his wife Jill have 4 children, Lauren (11), Rachel (8), Taylor (5), and Ellie (2). His hobbies include all sports, fly fishing, model building, and gardening.
