Security Issues with Alternative Communication Channels

John Merriam has been involved in managing and implementing information technology since 1989.

In 1995 he joined Moore Wallace where he has managed business communications projects for Fortune 500 companies. He created and managed the Moore Wallace team responsible for delivering business communications electronically.

John worked with SmartPACS and Stanford University Hospital to develop FDA-approved software applications for the film-less reading and remote transmission of medical images.

He has managed multi-site IT projects for American Express, including developing and implementing an online imaging and retrieval system.

John has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University.
