Mr. Michael DaPrile is the vice president of Toyota
Motor Manufacturing North America (TMMNA). As part
of Toyota’s supplier executive exchange program,
he has been dispatched as the executive vice president
to S.W. Manufacturing, a company that supplies seat
adjusters, door frames, and window regulators. Before
joining Toyota in April 1987, Mike was with General
Motors (GM) for 25 years. He held the positions of
manager of final assembly, senior administrator of
quality systems, and department manager at various
GM assembly divisions.
He received a bachelor’s degree in political
science and history from Texas Wesleyan College where
he graduated with honors. Mike also completed a one
year graduate fellowship from North Texas State University.
Additionally, he serves as an advisory board member
for Lexington Community College, and he is a member
of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of
the Bluegrass.
